Spent an hour cleaning out the bathroom counter and the cupboards today. Yay me for finally divesting myself of lotions, creams, and various knick-knacks that haven't seen the light of day in months but I was hanging on to "just in case"! Lol. Hopefully this new "minimalistic" mentality of mine will transmit itself to my day to day eating habits as well *crosses fingers*
The Man and I went to Target today. All I was intending to buy was a soft plastic measuring tape and a weighing scale...and we ended up spending $182!! Apparently my weight is not the only thing i'm losing here! :P We had a pretty beneficial trip though, I bought my measuring tape and scale (measures weight, body fat, AND body water %!) which cost freaking $50 bucks...an incredible Reebok exercise mat, and some divine Hollyberry scented aromatherapy beads from the Method holiday line. If you haven't smelled it, go find some. Now. Seriously. Get off the computer and go hunt some down. They also have Cinnamon and Peppermint Vanilla but I wasn't too crazy about either of those. Pity...they sure sounded good, eh?
I didn't have the time to get my work-out in today but I was good as far as eating was concerned. 1C Kashi cereal for brekkie, 6" Turkey Breast on Honey Oat from Subway for lunch (I need to start ordering Wheat...Honey Oat is my weakness :|)...and a slightly naughty Pad Thai from Pei Wei for dinner. I'm proud of myself...I managed to not order my regular Roast Beef from Subway, and also avoiding the baked Lay's chips and the cookie!! Tomorrow I just need to phase out the Chinese fast food :P But hey, slow and steady does it. God knows I almost went into convulsions at Subway alone for deviating from roast beef and ordering turkey breast! *cries*
Planning to do at least 30 minutes on the elliptical tomorrow. I used to be able to do an hour straight but it's been a while. :x
